Holiday Pop-Up Bars in Pittsburgh

It’s the most wonderful time of the year in Pittsburgh! Amidst the chaos of holiday shopping, planning, and travel, it’s important to take time to bask in the Christmas spirit – especially with a drink in hand! Pittsburgh has so many holiday pop-up bars to explore, and we’re excited to share some with you!

Miracle on 6th

Located in the heart of downtown, Miracle on 6th is a classic Pittsburgh pop-up bar. Absolutely decked out for the holidays, this spot is open daily from 4 pm to midnight through New Year’s Eve. There is no cover fee or reservations, but beware of the crowds and business that may come along with this popular spot!

The Tipsy Elf

The Tipsy Elf is a Christmas pop-up bar with locations all over the country including NYC, Austin, Denver, San Francisco, and of course, Pittsburgh! The Pittsburgh pop-up is located in Greenfield at Hough’s Taproom and Brewpub. The $13 tickets must be purchased beforehand which include entry and a themed drink upon arrival.

Barry’s Pub

A classic Pittsburgh dive bar located in the North Hills, Barry’s Pub has transformed into a Christmas pop-up through the holidays! They’re open daily from 11 am to 2 am. 

Bob’s Garage

With five decades of drinks and decor, Bob’s Garage prides itself on being “Pittsburgh’s Original Christmas Bar.” This Fox Chapel bar is open Monday through Saturday from 1 pm to 2 am.

Margs & Mistletoe

Located in Robinson, LowKey Taco has transformed itself into a Christmas pop-up bar called “Margs and Mistletoe” through January 6th. Their drink menu features a lengthy list of holiday-inspired margaritas and shots, even offering a shot flight! LowKey Taco is open from 11-9 on weekdays and 11-midnight weekends.

Christmas on Carson

This holiday season, Local Bar + Kitchen presents “Christmas on Carson.” Open Wednesday through Saturday, enjoy holiday-inspired cocktails served in adorable Christmas mugs. They even have spiked hot chocolate!
